Our close-knit, medium-sized company is composed of smart, curious, diverse scientists who take an active interest in the scientific and technical development of our team members. We seek a Research Associate I to join our dedicated group of scientists. A desirable candidate will have the skills to culture mammalian and/or bacterial cells, perform DNA mini-preps, and complete bacterial transformations or cell transfections.Â

As an entry level research associate, this position offers you:Â
- Technical and scientific development leading to professional advancement or graduate schoolÂ
- Opportunity to use automated liquid handling robots to implement high-throughput assaysÂ
- Development of report writing and presentation skills, which may include FDA IND submission materialÂ
- Collaboration and mentorship from senior scientistsÂ
Â
What you will do at Integral Molecular:Â
- Perform assigned tasks in the lab, including cell culture, DNA-handling, flow cytometry in a 384-well format, and the associated data analysisÂ
- Use liquid-handling robots to perform antibody stains, washes, and dilutions Â
- Troubleshoot experimental and equipment issuesÂ
- Follow SOPs to complete experiments and assays, including good record keepingÂ
- Assist in the preparation of customer-facing reports and deliverablesÂ
- Independently plan a daily schedule, which may include balancing multiple projects simultaneouslyÂ
- Present data at team and company-wide meetings Â
Â
The successful candidate will have:Â
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, bioengineering, or a related fieldÂ
- 1–2 years of laboratory experience (internships and student jobs are applicable)Â
- A strong working knowledge of MS ExcelÂ
- Ability to work in a team-based environment with a collaborative and proactive attitudeÂ
- Inherent drive to work in a fast-paced environment focused on meeting customer deadlinesÂ
Please note: We are only accepting local candidates who live within the greater Philadelphia metro area and can commute to our offices daily for this position.
