Full Stack Engineer - Vice President

About the Role

iCapital is looking for aFull-Stack Engineer to join theiCapital Identity Platform team. This role will help define and deliver new features for one or more of iCapital's software platforms. You will work closely with Product Management and Design throughout the software development lifecycle—scoping requirements, reviewing work in progress, and addressing issues uncovered during automated and manual testing.

The iCapital Identity frontend usesTypeScript,React,GraphQL, andRelay. The backend is built inElixir/Phoenix, with someGoandNode.js, backed byPostgreSQL. Our infrastructure runs onAWS and is provisioned usingTerraform.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage anElixir + Phoenixbackend running on Amazon’s latest serverless technologies to power aTypeScript + Reactfrontend
• Support existing products and features while helping design and build new ones
• Design and develop integrations with other iCapital platforms
• Collaborate regularly with stakeholders and partners to gather requirements, seek feedback, and provide updates

Qualifications:

• 10–15+ years of experience in a related field
• Strong understanding of modern browser technologies and web fundamentals (HTTP, cookies, CSP, CORS, etc.)
• Extensive experience developing full-stack web applications
• Experience in collaborative environments where engineers define project vision, influence technical strategy, and continuously learn
• Strong relational database fundamentals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency and professional success coding in at least one programming language
• Experience with Linux and strong command-line skills

Preferred/Additional Experience 

• Writing production-ready code inElixir,Python,TypeScript,JavaScript,Go, orRuby

• Optimizing queries inPostgreSQL
• Developing withReact,Vue,Angular, orLiveView
• Deploying and configuring applications onAmazon Web Services (AWS)
• Prior experience in a security or penetration-testing role
• QueryingGoogle BigQuery or other large relational datasets
• Technical leadership, team lead, or management experience
