ABOUT THE ROLE

The Associate, Bitcoin Mining Strategy plays a critical role in driving the company's strategic growth initiatives. This position involves leading complex market analyses,spearheading mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, supporting strategic investmentsand developing strategic partnerships. The Senior Associate collaborates closely with seniorleadership and cross-functional teams to identify and execute high-impact opportunities,perform detailed financial evaluations, and deliver strategic recommendations.​

Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following:​

Strategic Market Analysis:​

• Lead comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, competitive dynamics,and potential growth opportunities.​
• Develop and present market analyses and strategic insights to senior leadership toinform business strategy.​

Financial Evaluation and Modeling:​

• Create and manage sophisticated financial models to evaluate the financial implications ofpotential ASIC acquisitions, strategic investments, operating fleet optimizations and otherbusiness opportunities.​
• Conduct thorough due diligence on strategy, including financial analysis and risk assessment.​

Strategic Initiatives:​

• Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities, from initial screening to integrationplanning, and through implementation.​
• Prepare detailed investment memoranda, board presentations, and other documentation tosupport decision-making processes.​
• Recommend operating enhancements with a goal of profit maximization of operating ASICmining fleet.​

Deal Structuring and Negotiation:​

• Assist in structuring and negotiating deal terms, coordinating with internal and externalstakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.​
• Manage relationships with external parties, including key partners, consultants, and legalcounsel, to facilitate transaction processes.​

Cross-Functional Collaboration:​

• Partner with internal teams, including finance, legal, operations, and corporate development, toensure seamless execution and integration of strategic initiatives.​
• Act as a liaison between the ASIC Compute Strategy team and other departments to fostercollaboration and alignment on strategic goals.​

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:​

• Track and report on the performance of and strategic decisions for the operating ASIC Miningfleet, providing insights and recommendations for future opportunities.​
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate progress and outcomes to seniormanagement.​
• All other duties as assigned

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. An MBA orother advanced degree is highly preferred.​
• 2+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting,private equity, or a related field.​
• Direct experience in Bitcoin, Bitcoin mining, or energy are a encouraged but not a requirement.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.​
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.​
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.​
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.​
