Location: Upper West Side, Manhattan, NY 10024

Helper Rate: $20.83–$25 per hour

We are seeking akind, reliable, and patient female helperto support a74-year-old woman who is largely independent but experiencesbalance and mobility difficulties. She uses a walker and may need a steady hand when walking or getting in and out of transportation.

Her family lives upstairs but has work and family responsibilities, so she would like support that allows her to remainindependent and active without relying on them.

Care Responsibilities

• Providemobility and walking support
• Assist with getting herwalker on and off the bus
• Help her safely getin and out of Uber rides
• Accompany her todoctor's appointments
• Accompany her when visiting her husband at his facility
• Provide support when she goes out in the community
• Assist withlight housekeeping in her small apartment
• Provide companionship and general assistance as needed

• 3 days per week
• A few hours per visit
• Flexible schedule to be coordinated with the caregiver and client

Ideal Candidate

• Comfortable assisting someone who uses a walker
• Patient and safety-conscious
• Familiarity withNYC public transportation and/or Uber is a plus
• Must be comfortable accompanying the client outside the home
• Reliable and respectful of the client's independence
• No personal vehicle required

This role is best suited for a helper who can provide steady, respectful mobility support while encouraging independence. The ideal helper will be comfortable navigating NYC with the client and assisting her safely with transportation, appointments, and everyday activities.
