Who You Are

You'll be the lead developer on Develocity's Salesforce platform and the go-to-market tools around it. You'll build and maintain the automation, integrations and custom features our Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Finance teams rely on every day. You'll take requirements from the business, write clean, tested code, and ship it to production yourself. You'll also help us build AI into how our revenue team works with Salesforce data.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch, scheduled and asynchronous jobs, and Lightning Web Components for custom apps, dashboards and guided workflows.
• Automate revenue processes, including lead routing and conversion, account and territory assignment, opportunity stages and forecasting, CS handover, renewals and proof-of-value tracking, choosing between Flow and code for each.
• Own our GTM integrations (Salesloft, Gong, ZoomInfo, Clearbit, Pardot (MCAE), Sage Intacct, Lexion, Slack and others) and troubleshoot sync failures with vendors.
• Write meaningful test coverage (well beyond the 75% minimum) and own sandbox-to-production releases, version control and documentation.
• Keep CRM data reliable through deduplication, enrichment, bulk backfills and cleanups, and performance tuning within governor limits.
• Extend our internal library of Claude skills and MCP integrations on Salesforce data, and help AI agents use the CRM safely.
• Turn requests from Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Finance into technical designs.
• Handle day-to-day administration: users, permissions and layouts.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, ideally as lead or sole developer on a Sales Cloud org at a B2B SaaS company.
• Deep Apex skills (triggers, trigger frameworks, bulkification, async Apex, test classes) and hands-on Lightning Web Components experience.
• Strong command of SOQL and SOSL, the Salesforce data model and security model, and when to use Flow instead of code.
• Proven experience building and debugging integrations with third-party systems through APIs.
• Comfortable with a modern development workflow: Salesforce CLI (SFDX), Git or GitHub, and scratch orgs or sandboxes.
• Curiosity about building with AI and LLM tools (APIs, MCP, agents) and using them in your own development work.
• Clear communication in English with both technical and non-technical colleagues across time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• CI/CD for Salesforce (GitHub Actions, Gearset, Copado or similar).
• Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), HubSpot or Marketo.
• Certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II or JavaScript Developer I.
• Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce or Einstein.
• German language skills.
