Join us! GoFundMe is looking for a dedicatedArtificial Intelligence (AI) Specialist to join our Early Careers Program and Data & AI Team to help elevate our analytics at GoFundMe. The Data & AI Team at GoFundMe is building the future of intelligent, helpful systems that power generosity at scale. We’re combining cutting-edge research inLarge Language Models (LLMs) andAgentic AI with deep product understanding to design systems that reason, plan, act, and improve lives.

You will join us in prototyping and evaluating next-generationautonomous agents andmulti-agent systems. You’ll work alongside scientists and engineers on high-impact projects—from campaign creation and optimization to donor engagement and AI-native storytelling tools.

You’re an ideal candidate if you love all things data and want to accelerate your career in data and analytics at a fast-growing organization. You have demonstrated experience working with data, are highly collaborative, and are passionate about evangelizing and showing what is possible with data.

This opportunity is open to Masters or PhD students entering their final year of study. This program runs from March 2027 - August 2027 and is based in Buenos Aires, with young professionals expected onsite three days per week.

The Job

• PrototypeLLM-based agents with advanced reasoning, planning, and long-term task decomposition capabilities
• Exploremulti-agent orchestration using frameworks likeLangGraph,CrewAI, andGoogle ADK
• Implementagent memory architectures likePinecone,ChromaDB, orWeaviate, enabling persistent context across conversations and workflows
• Integrateexternal APIs, internal tools, and structured data into agentic planning and execution flows
• Help build scalableevaluation pipelines, includinghuman-in-the-loop andautomated testing frameworks
• Contribute to our safety, governance, and observability tooling—embedding transparency and accountability into agent behavior 

You 

• Pursuing anM.S., or Ph.D. inComputer Science, Artificial Intelligence, NLP, Machine Learning, or a related discipline
• Hands-on experience withLLMs and/oragent frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, etc.)
• Proficient inPython and familiar with modern AI tools and APIs
• Understanding ofprompt engineering,tool use, andagent architecture patterns
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, research-meets-production environment with ambiguity and exploration
• Passion for organization and documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build strong relationships and trust with all partners at GoFundMe both technical and non-technical

  • Exposure tocloud-native environments (AWS/GCP),Docker/Kubernetes, andmicroservice design
