What weâre hiring for:Â Â
We are a growing fintech organization looking to add aSolutions Architectfor our Global Delivery team!
What youâll be responsible for in this role:Â Â
- Lead technical pre-sales exercises with customersÂ
- Prepare and deliver technical presentationsÂ
- Lead design of creative solutions from conception to delivery, shaping our clientsâ thinkingÂ
- Support sales in answering RFI/RFP/RFQ (technical focus) and other customer proposalsÂ
- Crafting well defined description of operations/statement of works, partitioning solutions, supporting definition of project specifications, requirements and any development needsÂ
- Working with development teams and project managers to deliver client solutions as per the agreed scopeÂ
- Providing solutions assurance, ensuring our proposals meet our clientâs business requirements and align with our technology strategy & standardsÂ
- Articulating and managing technical risksÂ
- Supporting Episode Sixâs goals and objectives such as those related to sales, productivity, profitability and industry penetrationÂ
- Assisting in developing strategies and materials in support of the Episode Sixâs overall solution architecture practice, business development and sales effortÂ
- Contributing to our roadmap, shaping our future solutionsÂ
- Providing subject matter expertise to our clients and colleaguesÂ
- Traveling as required, mostly in UK regionÂ
What experiences and skills are necessary to be successful in this role:Â Â
- 10 years of experience in customer-facing roles, solution architecture & technical design, and payments industry with a strong focus on card payments, including credit, debit, and prepaid products
- Hands-on experience in card processing systems and standards such as ISO 8583, and integration with card networks including Mastercard and Visa
- Excellent communication skills (English) â ability to engage across a broad range of stakeholders at an appropriate level, business or technicalÂ
- Ability to articulate ideas/solutions clearly, visually and writtenÂ
- Experience working with APIsÂ
- Strong technical understanding, capability and willingness to learn and develop skills on a daily basisÂ
- Very driven and self-motivated, able to work autonomouslyÂ
- A team player with a âcan-doâ, entrepreneurial attitude that thrives in an agile, ever-changing worldÂ
- Knowledge of payment concepts and global payments landscape; preference to the local regulatory landscape in the US regionÂ
- Application architecture/domain expertise in Java based applications and cloud/on-premise infrastructureÂ
