As an Engineering Intern at Apex, you will work alongside experienced engineers, project managers, and technical professionals on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects. This internship provides meaningful hands-on experience, mentorship from industry experts, and exposure to multiple engineering disciplines, including civil, environmental, electrical, transportation, water resources, utilities, land development, and water/wastewater engineering.

Interns will have the opportunity to build technical skills, expand their professional network, and explore potential career paths within a growing consulting organization while contributing to real-world projects that make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with engineering design, analysis, and project documentation.
• Supporting field investigations, site visits, inspections, environmental sampling, and data collection efforts.
• Preparing calculations, reports, drawings, and other project deliverables.
• Utilizing engineering software and technology tools to support project work.
• Collaborating with project teams to solve technical challenges and meet project objectives.
• Participating in both office and field assignments to gain well-rounded industry experience.
• Communicating effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and develop professional engineering skills.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Sponsorship not available now or in the future.
