As the Senior Technical Services Manager (Sr TSM), you will report to the Operations Director and work closely with the rest of the Operations team, making your mark in a number of ways:Â
- Oversee critical environment maintenance planning activities at your data centreÂ
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of site based technical resources (TSM, Maintenance Manager and Coordinator), and contract management of site facilities providers for the tactical delivery of maintenance activitiesÂ
- Work closely with Building Services Manager on other property related mattersÂ

Your Day to DayÂ
- Effectively manage the site and achieve 100% uptime and compliance with customers' SLAs and safetyÂ
- Oversee the planning and coordination of all preventive maintenance and repair works; ensure change management, incident management procedures and safety requirements are followed; coordinate activities asrequired with customersÂ
- Coordinate withthedevelopment team to manage construction activity and installations, to ensure system design, installation and testing adhere to operational standardsÂ
- Review and support customer capacity management plan to ensure power capacity is wellmaintained and within limitationsÂ
- Maintain site operating procedures (SOP, MOP, EOP) and any other documentation required by law, e.g. RA,SWMS and EHSÂ
- Ensure compliance with site held accreditations, including, but not limited to, ISMS, SOC2, PCI, ISO9001, ISO14001Â
- Maintain compliance with local regulatory requirements including environmental, building, fire, electrical, hydraulic, occupational health & safetyÂ
- Primary operational contact for customers and local point of escalation during emergency events and day-to-day operationsÂ
- Attend witness testing of all equipment during commissioning tovalidate sequence of operationsÂ
- Receive and review all operational documentation for new capacityÂ
- Handle provisioning of data centre services including connectivity, power services, deployment, and anyadditional services to be delivered to the data centre customersÂ
- Run minor capital projects for customers/internal purposesÂ
- Lead all maintenance and repair vendors and OPEX budgetÂ
- Track operational metrics, data and analyse risksÂ
- Conduct regular property inspectionsÂ
- Evaluate plans and promote operational efficiency, passion for continuous improvement including power utilisation and cost efficiencyÂ

Requirements
- 5+yearsexperienceofmanagingmechanical and electrical in data centres (preferred), facilities, engineering operations, semiconductor,trades or related fieldsÂ
- Electrical or mechanical trade background or degree preferred. Solid understanding of data centre infrastructure, including power and cooling systems, fire, and security systemsÂ
- Knowledge of local statutory regulations and requirementsÂ
- Ability toestablish and review Method of Procedure documents, maintenance reports, incident reports, emergency event summaries, root cause analysis reports, CAPEX/OPEX budget forecasts/reports and O&M manualsÂ
- Able to read andcomprehend single line diagramsÂ
- Experience running 3rd party service providers; setting and managing critical metrics, negotiating contracts and pricing for servicesÂ
- Familiarity with Customer Portals, BMS, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, CAD is a plusÂ
- Good leadership and experience in supervising small teams of technical staffÂ
- Effective key partner management experienceÂ
- Strong customer centric approach, and ability to drive front-line staff attitude changeÂ
- Ability to deliver effective presentationsÂ
- Have Own Security NV1 Clearance or ability to get one (Australian sites only)Â
