About the Role

TheEnterprise Architect is responsible fordesigning, documenting, and leading the implementation of technical solutions for customers following the sale of Veeam products. This role bridges customer business requirements with Veeam’s technology, ensuring solutions arescalable, secure, and aligned with best practices, while also supportingpartner-driven implementations. 

The position involves technical leadership, customer consultation, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver successful outcomes—particularly for large enterprise customers undergoing digital transformation. 

Beyond direct design and delivery, the Enterprise Architectdevelops reference architectures and design guidelines that standardize deployments across bothcustomer-led and partner-led projects. Additionally, they collaborate withpre-sales teams to ensure a smooth transition from initial solution design to implementation. 

What You’ll Do

Technical Discovery & Analysis 

• Conducttechnical discovery sessions with customers to assess their existing IT landscape and requirements. 
• Identifyopportunities for improvement andarchitecture enhancements based on Veeam solutions. 
• Solution Design, Documentation & Reference Architectures 
• Designboth high-level and detailed solution architectures tailored to customer environments. 
• Createlow-level design documents and detailedtechnical specifications to guide implementation teams. 
• Develop and maintain reference architectures to standardize solution deployments acrossboth direct customer implementations and partner-led projects. 
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementation plans 
• Ensure solution designs adhere tosecurity, compliance, and scalability best practices.  

Project Definition & Estimation 

• Work withProject Managers and stakeholders to define project scope, deliverable, timelines, and resource requirements. 
• Providelevel-of-effort estimations to support project planning andresource allocation. 

Implementation Support & Technical Leadership 

• Providetechnical oversight during solution deployment andpost-sales implementation. 
• Assist inproof-of-concept (PoC) projects and technical workshops to validate solution architectures. 
• Support and guide partner-driven deployments, ensuring they follow Veeam’sbest practices and technical standards. 
• Support troubleshooting efforts andresolve complex implementation challenges. 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement 

• Work closely withPre-Sales, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure a smooth handover from pre-sales engagements to deployment. 
• Engage withcustomers, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful solution adoption. 
• Serve as atrusted technical advisor, translating business objectives intoeffective technical strategies. 
• Communicate technical details effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders 

Continuous Improvement & Technology Innovation 

• Evaluate emerging technologies (especially incontainers, security, and hybrid cloud) to enhance solution architectures. 
• Contribute to the development and update of internal best practices and technical standards. improving delivery efficiency andpartner enablement. 

What You’ll Bring

• IT experience, including in a solution architecture or technical leadership role. 
• Deep expertise indata protection, backup & recovery, disaster recovery (DR), and cybersecurity. 
• Hands-on experience withcontainers (Docker, Kubernetes) and container security in enterprise environments. 
• Strong technical knowledge ofvirtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and storage systems. 
• A record ofleading transformation projects for large enterprise customers, ensuring technical solutions support business-wide digital evolution. 
• Strong understanding ofnetworking, security, compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.), and IT governance. 
• Excellentproblem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with a strong ability to work with bothtechnical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Experience working in apost-sales consulting, professional services, or solution delivery role with direct customer engagement 

Bonus Skills

• TOGAF (or equivalent enterprise architecture certification). 
• Veeam VMCE. 
• Experience withautomation & scripting (PowerShell, Python). 
• Familiarity withlarge-scale IT infrastructure deployments. 
• Proven ability towork autonomously and drive innovation. 
• Strong Database skills including Database administration expertise will be preferred.
