The Role…Â
At Soho House, as aGym Attendantyou will be the welcoming face of our fitness facility and play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and positive workout environment for our members and guests. You will play a vital role in maintaining a pristine, welcoming, and hygienic environment across the gym and all member-facing and back-of-house areas.
You will work closely with the management team and facilities teams to ensure that all spaces including gym, lounge areas, washrooms, changing rooms, offices, and event areas are kept clean, stocked, and ready for use throughout the day

Key duties…
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all fitness areas, including gym floor, studio, and locker rooms.Â
- Replenish towels, cleaning supplies, and other amenities as needed.Â
- Enforce club rules and etiquette, ensuring a respectful and safe training space.Â
- Ensure high-touch points (e.g. door handles, counters, handrails) are regularly sanitisedÂ
- Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and sanitising productsÂ
- Support deep cleaning and periodic maintenance tasks as scheduled or requiredÂ
- Maintain equipment and cleaning products in a safe, clean, and organised conditionÂ
- Identify and report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or low supplies to the supervisorÂ
- Respond quickly and discreetly to spills, accidents, or urgent cleaning requestsÂ
- Adhere to all health & safety, hygiene, and COSHH regulationsÂ
- Demonstrate courtesy and professionalism when interacting with members and colleaguesÂ
What we are looking for...
A successfulGym Attendant for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success. Â
- Previous cleaning experience in a professional cleaning role (gym, health club, or hospitality environment preferred)Â
- Understanding of cleaning techniques and hygiene protocolsÂ
- Comfortable using cleaning equipmentÂ
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independentlyÂ
- Good time management and communication skills Â
- Ability to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidaysÂ
 Physical Requirements:Â
- Must be over the age of 18
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by handÂ
- Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hoursÂ
- Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as requiredÂ
