Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications for big data processing.
- Build and optimize data pipelines using Apache Spark (batch and streaming).
- Collaborate with data engineers and architects to integrate Spark solutions into enterprise systems.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of distributed applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Spark jobs and data workflows.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Core Java and Java 8+.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (RDDs, DataFrames, Spark SQL, Streaming).
- Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Kafka, etc.).
- Experience with Microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases for data integration.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in real-time data processing and ETL pipelines.
- Knowledge of performance tuning in Spark applications.
- Exposure to big data ecosystems (Scala, Python, Hadoop).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work in agile, fast-paced environments.
