Java Microservices Architect | Cloud Integration, Containerization & Security

Overall Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Java developers and ensure high-quality software delivery
• Develop and maintain Java-based applications and systems
• Design and implement scalable and efficient Java solutions to meet business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive innovation

Skills:

• Programming: Proficiency inJava and/orPython, with strong knowledge ofmulti-threading, concurrency, memory management, and optimization techniques.
• Proven experience buildingMicroservices with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and WebSocket services.
• Familiarity withfront-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular).
• Strong knowledge ofmiddle-tier applications (Redis/Coherence cache, Message Queues) andRDBMS (PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Experience withcontainerization and cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes); AWS expertise is a major plus.
• Hands-on experience withmonitoring and profiling tools (Prometheus/Grafana, JMC, JFR, JMeter, YourKit).
• Solid foundation indata structures, algorithms, and computational complexity.
• Familiarity withSDLC, DevOps (CI/CD), andAgile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in real-time environments.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of owning projects end-to-end.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge ofmarket microstructure and various asset classes (bonds, equities, options, futures).
• Experience withAWS Cloud and advanced Kubernetes deployments.

Experience:

• At least 7 years of experience in Java development
• Must have experience in fixing vulnerabilities
• Previous experience in delivering Java-based solutions for a large enterprise

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Java developers
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop, test and deploy Java-based applications and systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and implement new technologies

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Advanced certifications in Java development (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 11 Developer)
