We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer with strong expertise in API-driven development and modern engineering practices, along with hands-on experience leveraging AI-powered tools like GitHub Copilot. The role focuses on building scalable, secure applications while improving developer productivity through AI-assisted development and automation.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java
Build and integrate APIs using REST, SOAP, and JSON
Leverage GitHub Copilot and AI/GenAI tools to accelerate development and improve code quality
Implement best practices in API design, development, and integration
Work in Agile environments and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps pipelines
Apply BDD and DDD principles in development and testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
Ensure application security, performance, and scalability
Contribute to automation and agentic AI-driven development workflows

Required Qualifications

Strong experience in application development and implementation
Proficiency in Java development
Experience in API-driven development using REST, SOAP, and JSON
Solid background in API design, development, and integration
Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
Knowledge of BDD and DDD principles
Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, Karate, etc.
Experience with AI, GenAI, and agentic automation solutions
Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot
