Role- Senior Java Full Stack Developer
Location- MI
Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in building enterprise-grade server-side and UI applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Core Java, Spring ecosystem, React UI development, and modern engineering practices, with exposure to AI-assisted development tools and Agile/DevOps environments.
Must-Have / Essential Skills
- Extensive experience buildingenterprise server-side applications using:
- Core Java, J2EE
- Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Scheduler)
- Hibernate, JPA
- Strong experience developingUI applications using React
- Hands-on experience withtesting frameworks such asJUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber
- Strong understanding ofDesign Patterns andSOLID principles
- Experience usingAI-assisted development tools such asGitHub Copilot
- Hands-on experience with:
- Java/J2EE, Spring, ORM (Hibernate)
- XML, XPath, XSLT
- RESTful Web Services
- Experience working with web servers (Apache Tomcat preferred)
- Strong knowledge of UNIX / Linux operating system commands
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries (Sybase or DB2 preferred)
- Experience working with XML, XSLT, SOAP, and JSON data formats
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills
Additional Technical Experience
- Experience with profiling and performance tools (e.g., JProbe or similar)
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies
- Experience with DevOps integration and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with JIRA or other ALM tools for project tracking and delivery
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications
- Develop and enhance RESTful services and UI components
- Ensure high code quality through unit, integration, and automated testing
- Apply design patterns and best practices to ensure maintainable architecture
- Perform performance tuning, debugging, and root-cause analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile ceremonies
- Leverage AI tools to improve development efficiency and code quality
- Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD processes
- Maintain high standards of documentation and technical quality
