Job Summary
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications across both front-end and back-end systems. You will work with modern technologies such asJava, Angular, Spring Boot, reactive architectures, and relational databases to deliver high-quality, secure, and compliant solutions. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, mentorship of junior engineers, and adherence to best practices within a regulated SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, release, and support a regulated SaaS-based solution as part of an agile engineering team.
- Develop and maintain innovative software solutions to address customer and business needs.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements through production support.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including CI/CD pipelines, development standards, and engineering best practices.
- Advocate for and implement automation wherever possible, including testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure software quality, maintainability, and compliance with established standards.
- Evaluate system enhancements and releases for their impact on business processes and users.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external business, product, and technology partners.
- Maintain formal technical documentation and support validation requirements in a regulated environment.
- Learn and understand business processes to ensure technology solutions enable business success.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working withAWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.
- Strong proficiency inJava (preferably versions 17–22), JavaScript, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with modern frameworks and tools, including:
- Angular or React
- Spring Boot & Spring Reactive
- PostgreSQL
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Kafka
- Git/GitLab
- Experience withTest-Driven Development (TDD) andBehavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Experience with automated testing usingSelenium andCucumber, including API testing.
- Familiarity withDomain-Driven Design (DDD),Event-Driven Architecture, andReactive Programming.
- Experience working in anAgile orScaled Agile (SAFe) environment.
- Experience using release management and ALM tools such asJira.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in aremote andregulated software development environment.
Nice to Have
- 3+ years of experience developingSaaS-based products or working in anFDA-regulated or similarly regulated environment.
- Experience inbiomedical, healthcare, blood services, or life sciences domains.
- Exposure to or experience usingAI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Amazon Q or similar).
