Rate : $120k/Annum / $50/hr on w2 (10+)
Responsibilities
- Design, write, test, and document high‐quality code and technical artifacts.
- Improve system quality, performance, resilience, and reliability.
- Perform root cause analysis and define corrective actions.
- Lead design and implementation of complex capabilities within existing systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and guide teams in engineering best practices.
- Decompose complex designs into manageable, maintainable components.
- Ensure observability, instrumentation, and operational readiness of systems.
- Define and maintain test suites ensuring production SLAs (latency, availability).
- Promote security by proactively identifying and closing vulnerabilities.
- Evaluate system attack surfaces and guide secure development practices.
- Drive delivery in small batches to maximize business value.
- Advocate for reusability and standardization across systems.
- Identify opportunities for improved engineering workflow and solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 9+ years designing, developing, and deploying large‐scale production systems.
- Master's degree in a related technical field.
- Airline industry experience.
