Role Overview

HCL is seeking an experiencedJava Developer with strong expertise inJava 17+, Spring Boot, and Angular 17+ to design, develop, and support modern, cloud-enabled applications. The ideal candidate will have solid experience across thefull software development life cycle (SDLC) and be comfortable working inhybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications and services usingJava 17+, Spring Boot, and Angular 17+

• Applysoftware engineering best practices across architecture, design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation

• Develop and maintainRESTful APIs, microservices, and web services

• Participate incode reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and performance benchmarks

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translatebusiness requirements into technical solutions

• Support applications acrosson-premises, Azure, and GCP environments

• Contribute toDevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Azure Pipelines

• Participate inAgile/Scrum ceremonies and iterative development cycles

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience withJava 17+ and Spring Boot

• Frontend experience withAngular 17+

• Solid understanding ofSDLC best practices, including architecture, design, testing, and operations

• Experience developingRESTful APIs and microservices

• Experience working inhybrid environments (On-Prem + Cloud)

• Knowledge ofDevOps and CI/CD pipelines

• Familiarity withAzure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Azure Pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Strongproblem-solving, communication, and time management skills

• Experience buildinghigh-performance, scalable, and distributed systems

• Experience withrelational and NoSQL databases, analytics platforms, or enterprise data pipelines

• Exposure toAI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or Claude

• Experience withcloud migration projects

• Background inhealthcare, clinical, laboratory, or bioinformatics applications

• Experience working inAgile development environments

• Multi-cloud exposure (Azure and GCP)

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications
