Job Title :Java Cloud Developer
Location: Onsite – Jersey City, NJ / Charlotte, NC
Duration: 6 Months


Salary Range: $40.00 - $42.00/Hour on W2 (Without Benefits).
Applicants must be willing to work on W2.
 
Role Description
  • Seeking a highly skilled Java Cloud Developer with extensive expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance microservices and cloud-native applications.
  • You will be responsible for modernizing legacy codebases, migrating architectures to the cloud, and ensuring robust system integration across our backend infrastructure.
Experience Required:
  • 6+ years in Java backend development, with 7+ years in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Computing..
Essential Skills
  • 6+ years of professional experience in Java backend development, with strong hands-on proficiency in Java 17, including concurrency, multi-threading, and stream APIs.
  • Deep expertise in Spring Boot 3.x and associated ecosystem projects.
  • Must have 7+ years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Computing, with proven experience implementing architectural solutions across core AWS services, including ECS, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, and Lambda.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, actively participating in sprint planning, estimation, and code reviews.
Skills Required:
  • Java 17.
  • Spring Boot.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Desirable Skills:
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude to maximize development efficiency and code quality.
  • Solid understanding of relational database management systems and SQL optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and clear communication to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with other developers to achieve quality and consistency of deliverables.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness, time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
