Job Title: Java Backend Client Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilledJava Backend Client Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise inJava, Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native development. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on coding ability, and the capability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintainJava-based backend services, APIs, and microservices.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend architectures usingSpring Boot and modern frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Frontend, DevOps, QA, Product) to define system requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Implement and optimizeRESTful APIs, event-driven services, and integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Develop unit tests, participate in code reviews, and ensure code quality and performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
• Work on containerized deployments usingDocker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure backend services meet security, compliance, and performance requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency inJava 8+,Spring Boot, and backend development frameworks.
• Hands-on experience withMicroservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding ofData Structures, Algorithms, and design principles.
• Experience withREST APIs, JSON, and API design best practices.
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases such asMySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
• Experience withDocker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience withKafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
• Knowledge ofAPI Gateway, service mesh, or distributed tracing.
• Exposure toDevOps tools, monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana), and observability practices.
• Experience inClient (General Engineering) domain or similar large-scale enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, SSO).
