Job Description:
- We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience supporting production environments, troubleshooting critical issues, and working in Agile teams. Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
- Strong experience with Java 8/11/17/21, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Experience developing and supporting RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Experience using AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to improve development productivity.
- Experience handling production support, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Strong troubleshooting skills for memory leaks, performance bottlenecks, thread dumps, heap dumps, GC analysis, CPU utilization, and application failures.
- Experience managing SSL/TLS certificates, certificate renewal, keystores, truststores, and secure application communication.
- Knowledge of application monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, or Dynatrace.
- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and messaging technologies like Kafka.
- Develop and maintain scalable Java backend applications using Spring Boot and Microservices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in AWS/OpenShift environments.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for production incidents.
- Monitor application health, analyze logs, heap dumps, and thread dumps to resolve performance and memory issues.
- Manage application certificates and ensure secure deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and participate in code reviews and production releases.
