We are seeking an experiencedJava Backend Developer to join a long-term development team in Whippany, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience withJava, Spring Boot, React, and cloud technologies, particularlyOpenShift, along with a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing.
The developer will contribute to application development, enhancement, testing, deployment, and maintenance while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications usingJava.
- Develop backend services and applications usingSpring Boot.
- Contribute to frontend development usingReact.
- Develop and integrate applications usingcloud technologies, includingOpenShift.
- Participate throughout theSoftware Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform unit, integration, and application testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Support application deployment and maintenance activities.
- Strong hands-on experience withJava.
- Hands-on experience withSpring Boot.
- Experience withReact.
- Experience withCloud Technologies, particularlyOpenShift.
- Strong understanding ofSDLC processes.
- Experience withsoftware/application testing.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in ahybrid environment.
