Essential Job Functions:
Development & Design
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance microservices using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot 3.x.
- Develop robust REST APIs that adhere to industry standards for security and reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable code following SOLID principles and design patterns.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Ensure high code quality by writing comprehensive JUnit5 and Mockito tests.
- Implement BDD scenarios using Cucumber to align technical output with business requirements.
Deployment & DevOps
- Automate the path to production by building and managing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Manage version control and branching strategies within Azure Repos/Git.
Monitoring & Support
- Deploy, configure, and manage applications within the Azure Cloud environment.
- Proactively monitor application health and provide Tier 3 support to resolve production bottlenecks.
Ways of Working & Collaboration
- Collaborate effectively within and outside the team to refine both functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to ensure steady project momentum.
- Suggest and implement improvements regarding system performance and Azure cost optimization to ensure efficient resource utilization.
Qualifications:
- Experience Level: 5 to 12 Years
Must-Have Qualifications
- Expert-level proficiency in Java 17/21 and Spring Boot 3.x for building microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Strong experience in automated testing using JUnit5, Mockito, and Spring Boot Test.
- Deep understanding of SQL for relational database design and querying.
- Proficiency with Azure Repos and advanced Git workflows.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications within the Azure Cloud ecosystem.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ETL processes using Spring Batch.
- Experience with Azure Storage Accounts or Azure Data Factory.
- Familiarity with Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Cucumber.
