Senior Java Automation Test Engineer with AI

We are looking for aSenior Java Automation Test Engineer with AIto scale Java automation, API testing, and CI/CD while applying modern AI-driven testing. You will design maintainable Selenium and REST/SOAP automation, optimize parallel execution, and embed quality gates with Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Responsibilities

• Architect, build, improve, and maintain scalable Java-based test automation frameworks
• Develop reliable automation solutions using Selenium
• Guide framework architecture decisions with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and reuse
• Implement parallel execution approaches and reduce run times across browsers and platforms
• Create reusable libraries, utility tools, and framework extensions
• Design and deliver API automation solutions for REST and SOAP testing
• Validate XML and JSON payload integrity through serialization and deserialization
• Establish authentication and authorization methods including Basic Authentication, Bearer Tokens, OAuth, and NTLM
• Manage sessions and execute API integration testing
• Perform code reviews and uphold clean coding practices
• Define and enforce standards for coding, branching strategies, and version control practices
• Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Architect and implement AI-driven features for automated test case creation, script generation, code review support, and API-based automation workflows

Requirements

• 6–9 years of hands-on experience in test automation
• Strong command of Java with Object-Oriented Programming fundamentals including classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation, and abstraction
• Deep expertise in building scalable test automation frameworks and using Selenium
• Proven ability in API test automation for REST and SOAP services, including validation of XML and JSON payloads
• Solid knowledge of software design patterns such as Singleton, Factory, and Decorator
• Practical familiarity with Page Object Model and Page Factory approaches
• Background integrating CI/CD and DevOps workflows using Jenkins and GitHub Actions, including static code analysis and quality gate implementation
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Cursor
• Strong grasp of prompt engineering, context window management, and tokenization
• Working knowledge of model selection approaches, embeddings, and vector databases for semantic search use cases
• Ability to design and build AI agents and AI-assisted engineering solutions using OpenAI Assistants, GitHub Copilot, and Claude
• Understanding of similarity search techniques and retrieval mechanisms

Nice to have

• Experience building agentic workflows and collaborative multi-agent systems for end-to-end testing, automated reporting, and workflow coordination
• Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures and integrating LLMs with enterprise knowledge sources
• Understanding of Model Context Protocol concepts and related frameworks
• Knowledge of Attention Mechanisms and Transformer-based model design
