Cybersecurity Product Engineering Team Leader

Location: Tubize #ON-SITE

Your Mission:

• Manage  and  mentor  the  team, fosteringcollaboration,professionalgrowthandperformanceimprovement through  regular  check-ins,  while  ensuring  optimal  team capacity and sourcing to sustain business growth

• Oversee thedefinition, implementation, and validation of hardware/software security measures across thefull product lifecycle.

• Ensure adherence toThales’ engineering standards andcybersecurity best practices (e.g., threat modeling, cryptography, post-quantum algorithms).

• Upholdcybersecurity engineering governance in line with Thales’ processes, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.

• Partner withengineering disciplines (hardware/software teams) to integrate security measures seamlessly into product development.

• Promotetransparent communication and alignment on shared goals with stakeholders.

• Apply expertise inthreat modeling, embedded systems security, and applicative security to mitigate risks proactively.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related STEM field with8+ years of relevant experience;ORMaster’s with6+ years in cybersecurity/engineering leadership.

• Proven experience leadingengineering teams incomplex cybersecurity, critical systems, or defense programs.

• Hands-on expertise inthreat modeling, hardware/software security measures, andcryptography (including post-quantum algorithms).

• Collaborative mindset with a track record of fosteringcross-disciplinary team growth and psychological safety.

• StrongEnglish proficiency (written/verbal); ability to align technical teams and stakeholders on shared objectives.
