Overview Join Thales as an IVVQ Engineer supporting the integration, verification, validation, and qualification of complex engineering solutions. This senior-level role is ideal for an experienced validation engineer who enjoys leading testing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, interacting directly with customers, and ensuring high-quality system deployments. You'll play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, from proposal and estimation through customer acceptance and deployment.
Job Description
- Lead integration, verification, validation, and qualification (IVVQ) activities for complex engineering projects.
- Develop validation strategies, test plans, and overall testing approaches for software and system solutions.
- Plan, estimate, monitor, and manage IVVQ activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform component, module, integration, and system-level testing.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test procedures.
- Prepare and conduct integration and validation test campaigns.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and work with engineering teams to resolve defects.
- Define integration sequences aligned with system release plans.
- Develop and maintain integration and verification documentation.
- Support staging and System Integration Lab (SIL) environments.
- Identify required test equipment and calibration needs.
- Participate in project estimation and proposal (bid) activities.
- Present validation results and technical demonstrations to customers.
- Travel to customer sites to support deployments, testing, and issue resolution.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across the validation team.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in integration, verification, validation, testing, or systems engineering.
- Experience leading validation and integration activities on complex engineering projects.
- Strong experience writing test plans, test procedures, and validation strategies.
- Experience with system integration, verification, validation, and acceptance testing.
- Test automation experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience working with test management and test execution tools.
- Ability to analyze data and develop testing solutions.
- Experience presenting technical information to customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with engineering project management principles.

Experience with automated testing tools, including:
- TestComplete
- ReadyAPI
- JMeter
- Experience supporting System Integration Lab (SIL) environments.
- Experience with deployment and customer acceptance testing.
- Programming or scripting experience is a plus.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Green Card holders are not eligible due to regulatory requirements.
- Hybrid schedule requiring onsite work Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
- Ability to travel to customer sites for deployments and customer support.
