Senior Associate - Labour Litigation

As aSenior Associate - Labour Litigation, you will be asenior individual contributor in our HQ Legal Team, owninghigh-stakes and strategically critical labour litigation and collective labour matters, mainly in Spain.

 You will act as afrontline labour lawyer, trusted to take ownership of complex disputes, interact with labour authorities, and drive legal strategy in situations with real operational and reputational impact.

• Manage and provide legal consultation oncontentious labour litigation, mainly in Spain.
• Define and execute legal strategy forhigh-risk labour disputes, including matters with collective implications.
• Manage autonomouslyexternal labour law firms, including instructing, negotiating fees, litigation strategy, pleadings and hearings.
• Be fully on top of each case, managingdeadlines, next steps and legal risk.
• Act as a key legal contact for matters involvinglabour authorities and inspections.
• Interpret and applycollective bargaining agreements and labour regulations.
• Advise internal stakeholders oncomplex employment decisions (disciplinary actions, dismissals, sanctions).
• Think strategically, escalate when needed, andown outcomes end-to-end.
• Get your hands dirty: when there is a serious labour issue, you will help fix it.

If based in Madrid the role has a hybrid option of: 6 days a month (3 Monday's & 3 Tuesdays) in the Barcelona Office + traveling if required for business needs. 

If based in Barcelona the role has hybrid policy of 3 times a week in the HQ Office.

• ✔Law degree obtained in Spain and qualification to practice law
• ✔ Clear specialization inLabour / Employment Law
• ✔7+ years of professional experience practicing labour law
• ✔ Proven experience inlabour litigation
• ✔ Exposure tocollective labour matters (e.g. unions, works councils, collective disputes)
• ✔ Full professional fluency inSpanish and English
• Experience with labour vs self-employed reclassification
• Exposure to administrative litigation or Social Security matters
• Prior in-house experience in operationally complex environments (logistics, retail, tech)
