Director of Event Services

Concord Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and detail-orientedDirector of Event Services to lead the planning and execution of group events. This role is essential to delivering exceptional experiences for planners and attendees, ensuring smooth operations that drive repeat and referral business.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal teams and external clients.
• Manage all event details from initial planning through post-event follow-up, including room blocks, contracts, billing, and critical deadlines.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and catering teams to forecast and maximize group room and food & beverage revenue.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of hotel services and effectively utilize digital sales and property management systems (PMS).
• Attend client functions and represent the hotel professionally, working varied schedules as business demands.
• Work independently while leading and motivating teams to foster collaboration and proactive problem-solving.
• Achieve performance goals and support team development through training and career growth opportunities.
• Adhere to all company policies and respond to management directives promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in convention services, event planning, or related hospitality roles.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Proficiency with digital sales systems such as Delphi, PMS platforms, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied schedules as needed.
