POSITION SUMMARY 

The Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Analystwilladminister, support, andmaintain the Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS). This position willensure the data integrity of the systemby configuring the system to meet ongoing business needs, trouble-shooting any issues that may arise andmaintaining all ongoing processes.  Responsibilities also includeassisting subject matter experts, testing system changes, reportwriting andidentifyingprocess improvement opportunities. 

 

CORE FUNCTIONS 

  • Maintain,develop and research the HRIS by accurately configuring and processing data, including the maintenance of system tables, workflow, security, ...  

  • Review, troubleshoot, and resolve data integrity issues. Ensure accuracy of database via audits and system correction. 

  • Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Deliver training andassist system users.  

  • Assist with projects dealing with the administration ofthe HRIS and related systems.Communicate and present project updates and issuesto internal customers, vendors,and/or management.Help toidentify project interrelationships that will affect project decisions and outcomes.  

  • Analyze system changes todetermine and document impactto systems, businessprocesses and associated testing needs.Assist in the review,testing and implementation of system upgradesand enhancements. 

  • Provide support for systems including, but not limited to,researching and resolving application problems, unexpectedresults or process flaws. Recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Perform scheduled activities. 

  • Identify, recommend, and implement process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, bestpractices or alternate methodologies/policy changes whilemonitoring and sustaining current systems. Reduce redundancies in processes and procedures by maximizing the use of the systems. 

  • Work withsubject matter expertsto support business requirements and needs. Support businessexpansions. 

  • Maintain awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development,delivery and support, and applying key technologies.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS 

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business,management information systems, orarelated fieldisrequired. 

  • 2+years of Human Resources Information Systems experience in a complex organization with multiple sites isrequired.  

  • Experienceusing Ultimate Software (UKG) is preferred. 

 

Required Licenses 

  • None. 

 

Skills,Abilities, and Knowledge 

  • Strong understanding of database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience withdatabases tools. 

  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel. 

  • Ability to develop reports and queries to meet the needs of theappropriate audience. 

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects at the same time with limitedsupervision; excellent planning, organizational skills, time management, multi-tasking and decision-making skills. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Ability tomaintain strict confidentiality. 

  • Proven accuracy and attention to detail. 

  • Ability toefficiently function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

  • Ability to develop and implement training. 

 

Travel 

  • Occasional travelmay berequired.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • This position is subject to sedentary work; exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of forcefrequently or constantlyto lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.Sedentary workinvolved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing arerequired only occasionally. 

 

Physical Activities 

  • This position is subject to the following physical activities: talking, hearing, and the use of hands, wrists, or fingers in repetitive motions. 

 

Visual Acuity  

  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes. 

 

Working Conditions 

  • This positionoperates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
