What You’ll Be Doing:

Engineering Supervisor is responsible for supervising the maintenance team and ensuring the efficient operation of all hotel equipment, systems, and facilities. This role supports the Engineering Manager in maintaining safety standards, minimizing downtime, and delivering a high-quality guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations of the engineering and maintenance team.
• Perform and oversee preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Inspect hotel facilities regularly to identify repair needs and safety issues.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and hotel standards.
• Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, front office, etc.) for maintenance needs.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and energy management initiatives.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff.
• Keep accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and reports.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of engineering or maintenance experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, engineering standards, and maintenance practices.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering and maintenance software.
