We are looking for a positive, highly motivatedTransportation Supervisor, on the overnight crew at our operation in Dearborn, MI. As Transportation Supervisor, you will work closely with the Transportation Manager and other Department Managers. The Transportation Supervisor manages their team of switchers, CDL A, and Hot shot drivers to success through training, coaching, and team building. They will oversee complete compliance with DOT regulation, company policy, and ensure management to the right KPIs to accurately measure that success. This is a very high paced role that requires the ability to prioritize work successfully and adapt to shifting priorities. . The ideal candidate MUST be able to demonstrate the following:

Experience Requirements:

• 1+ years’ hands-on leadership experience coaching, training, and leading a team in a successful transportation operation. 
• 1+ years' experience building a team to embody positivity, growth, DOT compliance, and accountability. 
• 1+ years' experience working with CDL A drivers dispatching dedicated and/or shuttle runs.
• 1+ years’ experience and complete understanding of all applicable DOT HOS regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to uphold safety, quality, and continuous improvement requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively train employees in proper work instructions, processes, policies, and procedures in all areas of transportation.
• Ability to lead and motivate the team to successfully meet all goals.
• Ability to understand Pre-trip and Post-trip reports and to handle all noted issues with the appropriate solutions.
• The ability to work within a team environment and a willingness to learn. 
• Additional duties as assigned, per customer and management requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma
• 1+ years’ hands-on leadership experience coaching, training, and leading a team in a successful transportation operation. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT safety regulations
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

What we offer:

Competitive base salary in the range of $55,000 to $65,000 annually
