About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking anAssociate Fiduciary Specialist– International to support the administration and servicing of managed Individual Retirement Accounts. The role is responsible for processing IRA transactions and account-maintenance requests accurately and timely while managing fiduciary, operational, regulatory, and client-service risks.

The IRA Specialist applies established procedures, reviews supporting documentation, identifies potential issues, and collaborates with internal partners to ensure requests are completed in accordance with governing documents, applicable regulations, tax-reporting requirements, and internal policies. The role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple requests in a deadline-driven environment.


In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate and oversee low to moderate non-discretionary administrative tasks for Trust accounts
  • Execute on basic client requests, including money movement, gifting, pledging, repapering, statements, tax documentation, distribution and name and address changes
  • Build a strong understanding of fiduciary concepts and principles
  • Build and maintain a strong knowledge of internal policies and procedures including, but not limited to, distributions, account maintenance, Know Your Client (KYC) requirements, annual account reviews, and management of overdrafts
  • Develop an ability to identify fiduciary risk and escalate appropriately
  • Develop knowledge of investment strategies, objectives, and asset allocations
  • Set up, administer, terminate, and distribute moderately complex accounts of all types

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of Fiduciary Products experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience and education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Trust products and services.
  • Familiarity with Traditional, Roth, SEP, SIMPLE, inherited, and beneficiary IRAs is preferred.
  • Completed at least two (2) years of college education.
  • Experience processing IRA distributions, transfers, rollovers, beneficiary changes, and tax-reportable transactions
  • Ability to review and interpret financial forms, account instructions, legal documents, policies, and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to identify risk, exercise sound judgment, and escalate matters outside established authority
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and related business applications

  • Ability to protect confidential client and account information
  • Ability to follow established review, approval, recordkeeping, and escalation procedures
  • Ability to complete required training and maintain knowledge of applicable IRA requirements
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, internal stakeholders, and other teams
  • The successful hire must be amenable to observe a night shift schedule, work on an onsite set-up (Five NEO, Taguig) and additional hours as needed
