TheLaboratory of Jonathan D. Licht, M.D., in the VAIDepartment of Epigenetics, is seeking to hire a highly motivated full-timePostdoctoral Fellow. The Licht Lab focuses on epigenetic and gene expression regulators as drivers of cancer. Current projects include the study of histone fold mutations in solid tumors and the role of epigenetic and splicing regulators in the pathogenesis of multiple myeloma.
Role and Responsibilities
Postdoctoral Fellows are scientific leaders in the lab. You will design and execute research projects, analyze and interpret data, and drive manuscripts and presentations. You will also contribute to a collaborative team environment and receive mentorship tailored to your career goals in academia, industry, or related fields. Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related field
- Strong record of rigorous and productive research (e.g., publications, preprints)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Expertise
- Experience in high-throughput genomic and epigenomic experimentation and bioinformatic analysis
- Experience with animal models of cancer
