This is more than a leasing role. It is an opportunity to build relationships, guide prospective residents through an important decision, and turn interest into signed leases. If you are motivated by meeting goals, earning commission, and converting prospects into residents, this role provides the opportunity to directly influence your success and earnings.
What We Offer
AIR offers competitive pay, commission opportunities, and benefits:
- Base pay of $20 per hour plus uncapped commission opportunities with multiple ways to maximize earnings.
- Based on estimated hours and commission, plus the estimated value of benefits, the annualized total rewards package isapproximately $90,000. Actual compensation and total rewards will vary based on hours worked, individual and community performance, commission earned, and benefit participation
- Multiple opportunities to increase commission per eligible lease, including:
- Longer lease term: Qualifying lease terms of 18 months or longer compared with the standard 12-month term.
- Higher-value apartment homes: Qualifying apartment homes with updated finishes, larger floor plans, premium views, or other desirable features.
- Exceeding monthly goals: Performance tiers that increase the percentage of eligible lease value earned per lease.
- 25% rent discount at any AIR community.
- Option to live onsite or at another participating AIR community.
- Depending on business needs,team members may be eligible for an unpaid winter break after peak leasing season
What You Will Do
- Turn qualified prospects into residents through prompt follow-up, personalized recommendations, and engaging tours.
- Identify each prospect’s needs and present the apartment home, amenities, and lease options that best fit them.
- Address questions, overcome objections, and confidently guide prospective residents through the leasing process.
- Build and manage an active sales pipeline to meet or exceed monthly leasing, conversion, and occupancy goals.
- Maintain accurate prospect activity, appointments, and next steps in AIR’s leasing systems.
- Create a positive experience for prospects and residents at every interaction.
- Support community marketing initiatives and leasing needs across the AIR portfolio.

Who You Are
- Goal-driven and motivated by meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Confident building relationships, addressing objections, and asking for the sale
- Organized, responsive, and consistent with prospect follow-up
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and changing priorities
- Collaborative and committed to providing an excellent customer experience
What You Have
- At least 1 year of sales, leasing, hospitality, retail, restaurant, or customer service experience in a goal-oriented environment
- Demonstrated success meeting sales, leasing, conversion, or revenue goals
- Experience following a sales process and guiding customers from initial interest through close
- Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, and objection-handling skills
- Comfort learning and using leasing, CRM, and communication technology
- Availability to work during community office hours, including weekends. The anticipated schedule isMonday and Wednesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Hours may vary based on community needs and season.
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

What You Need to Know
