Licensing Coordinator - PD

Mattel Development & Tooling Sdn Bhd is a one stop centerproviding service capabilities inProduct Development,Digital Model Making, Digital Mold Design andManufacturing Injection&Die-Cast Molds forMMSB,MIDC andMBK located in Perai, Penang.

• Coordinate and track licensed product approvals throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Manage approval trackers, status reports, and project documentation.
• Route product submissions between internal teams and licensors in a timely manner.
• Monitor project milestones and escalate risks, delays, or approval issues.
• Communicate licensor feedback and support teams in resolving approval comments.
• Act as a liaison between licensors and cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Design, Marketing, and Manufacturing.
• Facilitate requests for style guides, reference materials, images, and other licensor assets.
• Review trademarks, legal text, and branding requirements for accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze approval data and prepare reports to support business decisions and process improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through automation, reporting, and workflow enhancements.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive licensor information and upcoming product launches.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, Communications, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in licensing, brand management, product development, project coordination, or a related area.

• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and document management systems.
• Ability to work effectively with global teams and external partners. Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
