Responsibilities:

• Install, qualify, and maintain automated optical inspection (AOI) systems.
• Apply AI technologies to semiconductor product visual inspection.
• Improve product appearance and reduce visual defects.
• Monitor visual inspection yield and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and optimize rule-based inspection recipes.
• Deploy visual inspection systems and best practices to overseas sites.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, IT, and equipment suppliers.

Expected Background:

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in engineering, science, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, visual inspection, or equipment engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent Japanese communication skills.
• Basic English communication skills for emails, documents, and online meetings.

Expected Skill:

• Mandatory experience implementing automated visual inspection using rule-based methods.
• Mandatory experience applying AI to visual inspection.
• Experience with AOI system installation, qualification, and recipe development.
• Experience analyzing inspection data and improving yield.
• Experience deploying systems or processes across multiple manufacturing sites is preferred.
• Experience with Python, image processing, machine learning, or data analysis is preferred.
