IT Support Technician

FieldBridge Energy seeks a Houston, TX - based IT Desktop Support Technician II to work for a leading global energy services company.

Pay / Schedule: $25.00/hr. Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm. 100% Onsite. Weekly pay + benefits.

This is a 1-year assignment with potential to convert to the client's direct payroll. You'll provide hands-on desktop support at a large corporate site in Houston, setting up, repairing, and supporting PCs and peripherals for end users.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Configure, install, and repair PC hardware and peripherals following established procedures
• Contact end users to define data migration needs and perform migrations
• Monitor trouble tickets and coordinate with vendors for equipment repairs
• Set up PCs and related equipment for special requests
• Support the desktop team on hardware issues while following facility security, safety, and software licensing standards

Requirements:

• 3+ years of IT experience in a PC-related field, including hardware configuration
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience
• Strong desktop support and troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of networking basics
• Able to work 100% onsite in Houston, TX, Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm
