Type: W-2 contract, 3 year assignment

Pay:
Junior-Mid $58.00 – $72.00 per hour based on experience
Senior $72.50 – $92.50 per hour based on experience

About the role
A corporate IT team is looking for an IT Project Manager to lead its technology initiatives and help build how the team delivers them. You’ll run projects from start to finish and set up the processes, standards and reporting the team will use going forward.
We’re hiring at junior, mid and senior levels. Pay and scope depend on experience.

What you’ll do

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of technology initiatives
• Coordinate stakeholders and technical resources across the function
• Build and document repeatable project delivery processes and standards for the team
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria with stakeholders
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and resource forecasts
• Identify, track and mitigate risks, issues and cross-team dependencies
• Manage change requests and scope control
• Run project meetings and report status to stakeholders and leadership
• Coordinate with vendors, implementation partners and internal technical teams
• Facilitate requirements gathering, testing, go-live readiness and handoff to support teams
• Maintain project documentation and capture lessons learned

• Proven IT project management experience
• Experience managing IT projects through the full lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution and closeout
• Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methods
• Project tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira or Smartsheet
• Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong organizational, prioritization and problem-solving skills

• Experience managing project budgets, schedules and risk
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities
• Experience building or improving project delivery processes for a new or growing team

• IT project management for enterprise applications or infrastructure teams
• Otherwise, IT project experience at a technology company or in a regulated industry
• PMP or equivalent certification
• Agile certification (CSM, PMI-ACP or similar)
• Enterprise application implementations
• Organizational change management and user adoption

• ERP, CRM or other enterprise system rollouts (Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce or similar)
• Infrastructure, network or cloud migration projects (Azure, M365)
• Setting up or working within a PMO
• Azure DevOps or ServiceNow for project or work tracking
• ITIL Foundation

• Junior (0–4 years): manages smaller projects or workstreams with guidance, using established processes
• Mid (4–8 years): manages projects independently end to end and may lead several at once
• Senior (8+ years): leads complex, multi-team initiatives, builds delivery processes and works directly with leadership

• Able to safely lift up to 25 lbs and use stairs
• Travel: 0–5%
