Summary:
Seeking a highly motivated IT Procurement Project Lead for Infrastructure with experience managing standard supply chain challenges. Overall, the IT team is responsible for the implementation of the IT infrastructure that is delivered as part of the company's robotics solutions. Specific IT Procurement Project Lead responsibilities include the oversight and the tracking of the items required for MDFs, IDFs, network infrastructure, Low Voltage Cabling (LVC), wireless network, with the specific end goal of all equipment safely handed off to the Site teams for installation in a timely fashion.
This position will report to the Head of the IT Installation Services manager,
Responsibilities:
- Plan, track and communicate procurement status to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate well with internal and external audiences & operations support teams.
- Work with various lead vendors and coordinate the timing of procurement activities
- Ensure all projects are documented thoroughly and accurately & prepare weekly reports (via template)
- Collaborate with IT PM and IT IS site leads on planning, timing and delivery
- Outline and prepare general workflow diagrams for all vendors
- Oversee troubleshooting specific supply chain issues while supporting key milestone dates
- Drive towards dates and site deliveries while building trust with all vendors & stakeholders.
- Oversee multiple project deliveries, across multiple stages simultaneously.
- Attend required site meetings and develop relationships with site install managers, IT PM and the vendors
- Ability to understand simple & complex supply chain issues bring the appropriate people to the table for issue resolution.
Required:
- 5+ years of IT Procurement / Supply Chain experience
- Must have prior experience involving infrastructure procurement
- Strong understanding of infrastructure items (network switches, servers, storage, wireless, fiber cables & copper wiring.)
- Able to initiate escalations, mediate vendors, and ensure a positive and productive work environment
- Successful building relationships with people, vendors and management
- Working experience with Microsoft tools such as Excel
Preferred:
- Previous work experience in warehousing
- Project management tasking/ticketing systems to include JIRA
- Previous working experience with Smartsheets
