IT Operations Support

Introduction

This is an Information Technology Operations based role that supports the Louisville Assembly Plant. This is an outstanding opportunity to be a member of the plant’s Site IT team and to assist in redefining and reimagining how Site IT lends support to the manufacturing team. As a member of Site IT, you will be hands-on in helping the plant produce high-quality vehicles. You will support a broad range of IT infrastructure and application services in use daily and lend your knowledge and experiences to support process improvement efforts toward flexible and lean manufacturing. This position provides an excellent opportunity to expand your IT skillset while becoming proficient in manufacturing operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A 2-year or higher college degree
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple tasks/projects
• Experience or willingness to learn client Windows and Linux server administration
• Prior work experience at a similar industry or in a manufacturing environment

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Plant floor manufacturing experience
• Plant floor automation experience (e.g., Rockwell Control systems, PLCs)
• PowerShell scripting

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Support a multi-shift operation in a manufacturing plant
• Provide technical support to plant business customers throughout a manufacturing space
• Interface with corporate IT and business owners to prioritize improvement efforts
• Support Plant Floor Systems / Corporate teams in resolving incidents
• Develop, maintain, and share accurate support documentation
