IT Manager

• The IT Manager is responsible for developing,coordinating, implementing, anddirectingthe technology vision of the Casino. TheITManagerisalsoresponsiblefor thesuccessfuladministrationandcoordination of all activities ofthe ITdepartment in accordance withthe MissionandObjectivesof the casino and all establishedpolicies,procedures, and controls ofthecasino.
• Responsibilitiesinclude butare notlimited to:managing all activities ofthecasinoinformation managementsystems, software andhardware development,computernetworkandmainframesupport; advise anddirectdepartmentsin the planningandimplementationofnew informationsystems; ongoingprojectsand contract management; systemsintegrationand coordinationbetweenCasino departments,vendors and contractors.
• The IT Manager ensuresthata maximumlevelof guest service and satisfactionisachieved andmaintainedby theIT Department.
• Communicates with all departments on specificneedsand/or problems, and acts as aliaisonbetweentechnicians,vendors and management.
• Ensures properlicensingand adequate supportforall systemusers.
• Assistsin the design, coordination and installation of multi-user applications.
• Administerstheentirenetwork,maintainingdata integrityand system uptime.
• Maintainsworking knowledge of all applications on thenetwork.
• Enforcesstandardsofsecurity,systemintegrityandconfidentialitywithinthedepartment.
• Routinelyinspectsallsupported equipment onproperty,identifyingpotentialproblems andcoordinating necessary repairs.
• Coordinatesthe troubleshootingand repair of all supported equipment on property.
• Implementsand manages an effectiveinformation technologyplan forthe property,working withmanagement toensurethatoperations are maintained within budgetary constraints.
•  Reviews analysesofactivities, costs, operations andforecastdata,to determine departmentalprogress towardstated goals and objectives.
• Administers all programs,policies,and proceduresfortheInformationTechnology Department.
• Ensures compliance with all appropriate Tribal, federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as applicable.
• Performsother duties and projects as required.
• MaintainsaProfessional lookand attitude at alltimesand creates an atmosphere of FUNforall Casino guests.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor's degree in ComputerScience,InformationSciences orBusinessAdministration orfour tosix yearsrelatedexperience and/or training, or an equivalent combinationofeducation and experience.
  • Workingknowledge ofMicrosoft Server 2008+, Windowsdesktopsystems, Linux.
  • Knowledgeofprinciplesandprocessesinvolvedin businessand organization and execution. Thisincludesstrategicplanning, resourceallocation,manpower techniques,and production methods.
  • Possess superior computer skills andbeproficientina variety of software applications currently inuseatthe KickapooCasino, with the ability tolearnother applicationstosupplement the support sideofthe position.
  • Working knowledgeofnetworking, TCP/IPprotocols, routing, and otherrelatedtopics.
  • WorkingknowledgeofVMware/vSphere,WindowsServer,ActiveDirectory,andSQLServer.
  • Ability tocommunicateinformationandideasorally andinwrittenformat toaudiences of differing technical skill levels.
  • Ability to analyzeneedsanddocumentproduct requirements.
  • Abilitytodeal diplomatically with thepublicand staff.
  • Abilityto producedocuments that establishboth Identityand Employment Eligibility.
  • Prior tribaland/or gaming experienceisaplus.
  • Maintain a Kickapoo Casino Gaming License.
