Job Summary
We are looking for an IT Category Specialist to manage IT procurement, sourcing, and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience with IT purchasing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost savings.
Responsibilities
- Manage IT procurement and sourcing activities.
- Work with vendors and manage supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms.
- Analyze IT spending and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support RFP/RFQ processes and vendor selection.
- Work with IT, Finance, Legal, and other teams.
- Track vendor performance and contracts.
- Develop and maintain IT category strategies.
- 3+ years of experience in IT procurement, sourcing, or category management.
- Experience with software, hardware, SaaS, cloud, telecom, or IT services.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience managing vendors and contracts.
- Good analytical and Excel skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
