Introduction

Join a dynamic team of our banking client in their Capital Markets as a Technical Business Analyst. This exciting opportunity is based in Toronto, offering a hybrid work model with two days onsite. The role involves supporting the rollout of a new lending platform and expanding a growing portfolio, including US Whole Loans and mortgage-related initiatives. Be part of a fast-paced, high-impact environment working closely with business and technology teams to deliver critical data and system integrations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst
• Hands-on experience with TAO Solutions platforms, specifically Mortgage Hub and Secure Hub applications.
• Demonstrated experience supporting mortgage securitization and/or capital markets workflows utilizing TAO Solutions technology.
• Strong Capital Markets experience with exposure to MBS, Securitization, Fixed Income, Whole Loans, or Mortgage products.
• Front-end hands-on experience with securitization tools and platforms.
• Domain expertise in US Whole Loans, mortgages, or lending (critical requirement)
• Experience within Capital Markets environments
• Proven ability to work in high-pressure, fast delivery settings
• Strong understanding of data mapping and system integrations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Finastra-based systems
• Experience with data modeling
• Familiarity with securitization processes

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements across capital markets and lending workflows
• Support enhancements and change initiatives involving TAO Mortgage Hub and Secure Hub platforms.
• Support implementation of a new system (Finastra-based) and related integrations
• Perform data mapping between source systems and downstream applications
• Assist in building and refining data models
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand end-to-end business processes, particularly within lending and securitization
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications
• Work closely with development teams to support delivery in a fast-paced environment
