Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of all Island guest areas including restrooms, bars, pavilions and kitchens 
  • Facilitate stingray interaction program by providing a brief presentation and demonstration on how to feed Stingrays and assist guests with feeding of stingrays 
  • Maintain and care for the island landscaping, trees and plants 
  • Additional duties and tasks designated by leadership, when necessary 
 
  • Island Services (When Assigned)  
    • Cleaning, maintaining, and sanitizing Guest and Crew areas 
    • Work with various chemicals and cleaners 
 
  • Stingray Facilitator (When Assigned)  
    • Preparation of animal diets and handling seafood  
    • Checking in guests at the Stingray Hut 
    • Assisting with walk-up sales receipts 
    • Provide instruction and safety information to guests in the operation of snorkel equipment 
    • Cleaning, sanitizing and organizing all snorkel equipment 
 
  • Landscape (When Assigned)  
    • Weeding, watering, trimming, pruning, and fertilization 
    • Driving small vehicles and operating heavy machinery 
    • Able to work independently and report all abnormalities to a Leader 
    • Fill out daily checklists 

Basic Qualifications

  • Customer Service
  • Custodial
  • Landscape
  • Carpentry Assistant
  • Valid Driver’s License

This role is based on Disney’s private island in theBahamas.

Applicants must:
  • Be interested in working on a private island in the Bahamas
  • Legally authorized to work in the Bahamas
  • Be willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency duties and/or associated responsibilities 
  • Be willing and able to uphold the general safety management responsibilities specified in areas and operations under their control
  • Be willing to follow and embrace Environmentality requirements and Company practices
  • Be appreciative of working and living in a multi-cultural environment
  • Be comfortable living in a confined space with strict rules and regulations
  • Adhere to a structured lifestyle, personally and professionally
Your Responsibilities:
  • Obtain a criminal background check
  • Bring approved work shoes
