Who You Are:

The Global Process Owner (GPO) over Capital Delivery is accountable for the design, standardization, governance, and integrity of a criticalcross-functionalbusiness processacross QTS. This roledefinesthescope of theend-to-end processand ensures it isexecutedeffectively,consistently, and withappropriate controls across the global enterprise.It is accountable for tracking the business value realization ofimprovements to theend-to-endprocess. 

The GPOoperates within the enterprise GPO operating model, partnering closely with thefunctional leaderswhoown the management systems, executive cadences, and outcomes of the underlying work and the GPO Leader (who governsenterprise‑wide process standards and consistency).This role ensures the process design, data, controls, and standardsenable business outcomes,aredecision‑grade and scalable. 

What You Will Do: (Job Responsibilities)   

Process Ownership & Governance 

Ownend‑to‑end accountability fora specificprocess domain anditsdesign, including process boundaries, decision points, controls, and escalation paths acrossall processes and subprocesses. 

 

  • Define andmaintain theend-to-end global process design,scope and taxonomy (L1–L5), including standardized definitions, ownership, handoffs, and documentation aligned with enterprise process standards. Partner with business stakeholders to ensure business process designs effectively meet businessobjectives. 

  • Enforce process governance including stage gates, reconciliations, approval frameworks, and exception handling.Establish and lead process council reviews toevaluate process performance,communicateprocess health and ensureprocess roadmaps are aligned with executive stakeholder expectations. 

  • Manage intake, prioritization,sequencing and approval ofunderlyingprocess changes, assessing enterprise impacts, risk, and control implications. 

  • Ensure governance for the end-to-end process aligns with enterprise initiative and process governance frameworks. 

Standards, Controls & Data Integrity 

  • Develop andmaintain standardized artifacts, including process maps, SOPs, calendars, RACIs, control points, and KPI definitions. 

  • Define and govern critical data elements and assumptions, including ownership, lineage, validation rules, and data quality thresholds in coordination with QTS data owners. 

  • Hold sign-off authority on system changes that impact theend-to-end process.Partner with systems and data teams to translate process standards into system requirements and embedded controls.Influence technology roadmapsto supportbusiness process design and support IT teams in technical delivery of any changesto theend-to-end process.  

  • Apply and evolve the GPO Playbook to ensure consistent documentation depth, governance rigor, and audit readiness. 

 

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement 

  • Define, maintain and report process KPIs focused onend-to-end process cycle times andprocess effectiveness, quality and compliance.Clearly link process KPIs tooverallQTSenterpriseobjectives. 

  • Use analytics and process insights toidentify bottlenecks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities.Identify and remediate root causes affecting process health using data-driven decision making. 

  • Drive prioritized process improvements that strengthencycle time, quality, employeeexperience and profitability. Establish a mechanism for capturing and reporting value realization of process improvements. 

 

Enablement & Adoption 

  • Supportadoption ofprocess standards through training guidance, communications, readiness criteria, and compliance reinforcement. 

  • Coordinate rollout of process changes withkey functional stakeholders and enterprise change partners. 

  • Reinforce disciplined planning behaviors and adherence to enterprise standards. 

 

Scope and Impact 

  • Enterprise‑wide ownershipand decision rightsforend-to-endprocess designs, standards, KPIs and controls 

  • Regular interaction with senior functional leaders; drives processcouncil forums and escalations 

  • Direct influence onprocess execution consistency, data integrity, and quality 

  • Measures the business value of process improvements anddemonstratesclear linkage to overall QTSbusiness objectives 

 

Initial FocusArea:Capital Delivery 

  • TheCapital Delivery Global Process Owner is accountable for the end-to-end processesassociated withthe planning, development,execution and turnover of capital projects across the QTS portfolio. Thisorleis responsible forestablishing standardized,scalable and controlled processes that enable predictabledelivery of capacity, schedule,cost and qualityobjectives. 

  • This role’sprocessscope includes: 

  • Capital project initiation and governance  

  • Project intake, prioritization, and funding approvals  

  • Integrated project planning and scheduling  

  • Design development and design management  

  • Procurement and contract administration  

  • Construction execution and controls  

  • Change order and risk management  

  • Cost management and forecasting  

  • Commissioning and readiness validation  

  • Asset capitalization and financial closeout  

  • Turnover to Facilities Operations  

  • Governance of process handoffs, decision points, controls, roles and accountabilities acrossDevelopment, Design & Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Finance, FacilitiesOperations and other stakeholder groups 

  • Ownership of process requirements related to master data, process controls, metrics,reporting and system integrations supporting the processes 

What You Will Need to BeSuccessful:(Required Qualifications, Education,Experience, Certifications)   

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

  • 7 -10yrs of experienceinreal estate, finance,engineering,project management,or enterprise planningwithin a complex, high growth environment 

  • 5+ years ina process ownership, business transformation, or planning leadership role withdemonstrated accountability for governance, standardization, controls, and KPI management 

  • Demonstrated successestablishing governance, standards, controls, and KPIs in complex environments 

  • Demonstrated experience designing or improving end-to-end planning processes that connectdemand, capacity, capital, and operational execution 

  • Strong influence skills in matrixed organizations without direct authority 

  • Demonstrated success partnering with data, systems, and analytics teams to define business requirements, data standards, controls, dashboards, anddecision‑grade reporting 

  • Ability to present findingsand recommendations to executive stakeholder audiences 

  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft CoPilot 

 

Nice to Have:(Preferred Qualifications, Education, Experience, Certifications)   

  • Experience in data center, mission-critical infrastructure, real estate development, utilities,telecommunications or large-scale construction environments 

  • PMP,PgMP or similar professional certification 

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt from an accredited organization
