In data engineering at PwC, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedFabric Data Engineer – Senior Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for professionals with 4–6 years of experience in cloud data engineering, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services, while contributing to cutting-edge data architecture strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement scalable data solutions usingMicrosoft Fabric Cloud Architecture
Design and develop data pipelines usingAzure Synapse,Synapse Spark,Azure Data Factory, orSynapse Pipelines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions inconsulting or professional services environments
Apply best practices inCI/CD usingAzure DevOps andGit
Build and maintain robust data models aligned withData Mesh,Data Warehouse, andLakehouse architectures
Write efficient and optimized code usingT-SQL,PySpark,Python,Scala,Power Query M, orDAX
Develop interactive dashboards and reports usingPower BI and automate workflows withPower Automate Apps
Ensure data security and identity management with a basic understanding ofMicrosoft Entra

Required Skills & Qualifications

4–6 years of hands-on experience in data engineering and cloud architecture
Proven expertise inMicrosoft Fabric andAzure-based data services
Strong command ofSQL (T-SQL) andPySpark for data transformation and analytics
Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines, version control, and agile development practices
Experience withPower BI,Power Automate, and scripting languages likePython andScala
Understanding of modern data architecture principles and frameworks
Exposure toMicrosoft Entra or similar identity and access management tools
