IP Litigation Associate Attorney (IT/Engineering) – 2nd–6th Year
About the Role
Our client is seeking an IP Litigation Associate Attorney (2nd–6th year) to join its sophisticated Intellectual Property Litigation practice, with a focus on patent litigation involving technology and engineering matters.
This role is ideal for attorneys with strong patent litigation experience who enjoy courtroom advocacy, strategic case development, and working closely with clients on complex technology disputes. The practice handles high-stakes patent litigation matters in U.S. District Courts and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), including post-grant proceedings.
The ideal candidate combines strong litigation skills with technical fluency in engineering or computer science disciplines and is comfortable taking active ownership of litigation workstreams.

Required Qualifications

2–6 years of significant patent litigation experience

Experience in:

U.S. District Court patent litigation
-
PTAB/post-grant proceedings

Strong experience with:

Motion drafting

Discovery management

Depositions
-
Claim construction briefing
-
Litigation strategy development

Excellent written and oral advocacy skills

Comfortable speaking directly with clients and opposing counsel

Experience working in the Intellectual Property department of a comparable law firm

Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
Technical Background Requirements
Candidates should possess an undergraduate or master's degree in one or more of the following:
