**Class October 27 - 30**
ThePatient Care Technician (PCT) Training Program is atemporary training position created to prepare colleagueswithout prior Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience or training for placement into a permanent PCT/Nursing Assistant role. The program provides foundational education and hands-on clinical experience necessary to safely assist with patient care under direct supervision.

Upon successful completion of the program and all required competencies, colleagues will transition into aPatient Care Technician/Nursing Assistant position. Duties may vary by shift and/or be unit-specific based on operational needs.

Program Overview

The PCT Training Program consists ofclassroom instruction and skills lab practice delivered over atwo-week period.

Program Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Program Structure:

• Weeks 1: Classroom instruction and skills lab training
• Week 2: Hospital Wide Orientation – Monday 7:45 AM
  • Nursing orientation – Tuesday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Program Completion Requirements

• Acceptance into the Patient Care Technician Training Program
• Mandatory full attendance at all scheduled training sessions
• Successful completion of all program coursework and clinical requirementswithin the timeframe identified in the job offer

Failure to attend or complete any portion of the program will result in removal from the training program.

Post-Program Role

Upon successful completion of the program, colleagues will be placed into aPatient Care Technician/Nursing Assistant position working12-hour shifts, which may include:

• Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• Night Shift: 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.

Position requires rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

• Must be16 years of age or older
