Senior Risk Analyst

Our client in the financial industry is recruiting aSenior Risk Analyst

Mission:

Support the implementation and monitoring of the risk management framework, ensuring that risks are identified, assessed, monitored, and reported in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Reporting to the Risk Executive/Risk Officer, duties will include:

Main duties and responsibilities

·      Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Risk Management Framework.

·      Assist in the timely filing of the risk management returns to the regulator.

·      Assist in the preparation of the Risk Management Committee, as well as in the preparation of reports as and when required.

·      Proactively work with business units to identify, assess, monitor and report risks across departments and entities.

·      Maintain and oversee the risk register, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

·      Monitor developments in the insurance industry, financial markets, technology, regulation and geopolitical environment to identify emerging risks.

·      Promote and support the development of a strong risk culture across the organisation.

·      Support the governance and oversight of the Business Continuity Management.

·      Perform any other cognate duties.

Job Requirements

·      Bachelor’s degree in risk management/finance/accounting/economics or related field

·      Minimum of 3 years working experience in risk management / internal audit or equivalent

·      Knowledge of the financial services industry and risk management regulations would be an advantage

·      Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders

·      Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills

·      Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement
