Manages the development, implementation, and ongoing management of financial databases, dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics while establishing standardized data definitions, reporting methodologies, and controls to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely information for decision‑making.
Supervises and develops staff responsible for financial data management, analytics, dashboards, metrics, and reporting, establishing priorities, guiding performance expectations, and ensuring timely, high‑quality deliverables.
Implements automation and continuous improvement initiatives for financial reporting and data‑management processes to enhance efficiency, reliability, and timeliness across all reporting and performance‑measurement tools.
Coordinates the collection, integration, validation, and reconciliation of financial and operational data from multiple sources and collaborates with Finance, Federal Funds, Project Management, IT, and other areas to identify reporting requirements, integrate information, and ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity.
Evaluates complex financial and operational data by developing comprehensive management reporting— including dashboards and analyses on expenditures, reimbursements, budgets, forecasts, funding availability, and cash flow— and translating trends, risks, variances, opportunities, and performance issues into actionable insights for management.
Ensures federal funding, regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements are met by maintaining financial information and supporting data that are accurate, traceable, properly documented, and readily available for review.
Leads, models and ensures consistent application of policies and regulatory standards across teams to support ethical operations and mitigate compliance risks.  Â
Leads and validates the planning and execution of restoration and emergency preparedness activities to strengthen operational resilience and response capacity.
Assumes and oversees expanded duties aligned with organizational priorities and professional scope to drive departmental effectiveness and strategic alignment.

Additional Job Description:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree.
Experience
- 7 years' experience in similar functional role, with responsibilities of planning, budgeting, and at least 5 years' experience in a Manager role; with at least 3 of those years of experience overseeing multiple teams and projects.
- 7 years of progressively responsible experience in finance, financial analysis, data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related functional area, including experience working with complex financial and operational data.
- Experience managing day-to-day operations, teams, defining and achieving departmental objectives.
- Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and maintaining financial and operational dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and management reports to support business and executive decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience managing, analyzing, and reconciling large and complex datasets from multiple systems or data sources, with a strong focus on data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and quality control.
- Experience with data visualization and analytical tools such as Power BI, as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with database management, SQL, Power Query, or similar data-management and automation tools is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle and Asset Suite, particularly in extracting, analyzing, reconciling, and integrating financial and operational data for reporting, dashboards, and performance analysis is highly preferred.
Additional education may substitute for the required experience when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role:
- Master’s degree in in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience performing related functions and at least 3 years in a Manager role overseeing multiple teams and projects.
